এই ওয়াটার-ফ্রি সলিউশনে রয়েছে ১% বিশুদ্ধ রেটিনল, যা ফাইন লাইন, সান-ড্যামেজ এবং বয়সজনিত ত্বকের পরিবর্তন কমাতে কার্যকর। তবে রেটিনল অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী এবং অনেকের ত্বকে জ্বালা সৃষ্টি করতে পারে।
নতুন প্রযুক্তির Granactive Retinoid রেটিনলের মতো ফল দেয় কিন্তু তুলনামূলকভাবে কম জ্বালাপোড়া সৃষ্টি করে—সেজন্য অনেক ব্যবহারকারীর জন্য এটি বেশি উপযোগী হতে পারে।

The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane 30ml
- Key Ingredients: It features 1% Retinol (Vitamin A) to accelerate skin renewal and stimulate collagen, and Squalane, a hydrating oil that counteracts dryness and locks in moisture.
- Key Benefits: It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves uneven skin texture and tone, and minimizes dark spots.
- Formula Attributes: The solution is water-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free, nut-free, vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.
- Frequency: Apply in the evening only. Start by using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increase frequency as your skin builds tolerance.
- Application: Apply a few drops to the face after cleansing and toning, and follow with a moisturizer.
- Caution: Retinol can cause irritation, redness, and peeling, especially in the early stages of use. Sun protection is crucial during the day when using this product. This high concentration is recommended for experienced users who have built tolerance to lower-strength retinols.
- Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.
Description
This water-free solution contains 1% pure Retinol, an ingredient that can reduce the appearances of fine lines, of photo damage and of general skin aging. While Retinol has been studied extensively, it is irritating to the skin and newer technologies exist that mimic the visible effects of Retinol without causing skin irritation. For this reason, we generally recommend using Granactive Retinoid 2% or Granactive Retinoid 5% instead of this formula.
The Ordinary Tip: Start with Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and slowly work your way up to Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and Retinol 1% in Squalane. That said, if you are prone to sensitivity, you may prefer to use newer retinoid technologies, such as those found in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion.
Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
